René Grayre was director of the Philippe Staib Gallery in New York as well as the Staib Gallery and Sculpture Garden at Kent Station in Kent, Connecticut. He later directed the quick Space at 8 Greene Street, was director and co-owner of the Rostaing / Grayre Gallery in New York City, directed the Robert Steele Gallery in Chelsea, and served as Interim Director of the CCVA Gallery at the Chautauqua Institution. As a private dealer, artists' manager and art consultant, he has curated shows in New York, Connecticut and Japan, including Hiroshima: From Me To You — Messages to Hiroshima From (Almost) Every Artist in the World (Fukuya Gallery, Hiroshima, Japan), Wendy Mark: The Steamroller Project at the Arsenal (Monotype in the Park) (Central Park, NYC), and Big Jack Johnson Live at Exit Art with The Mississippi Photographs by Rex Miller: A Benefit for the Delta Blues Education Fund, NYC. A writer, sculptor and singer, he was born and lives in New York.

Sarita Dubin was co-director of the Philippe Staib Gallery in New York as well as the Staib Gallery and Sculpture Garden at Kent Station in Kent, Connecticut. Prior to that she ran the Philippe Staib Gallery in Paris, France. She subsequently worked with sculptor Lynda Benglis for many years and was the Director of Sarita Dubin Fine Art, Tokyo, Japan.
